Focus on change drivers, not change blockers
In any given situation, there are influencing factors and actors... some that drive and enable us (tailwinds) to move towards our desired goals, and some that restrain or hinder us (headwinds). These include both tangible factors (e.g. finances, market changes, team structures) and emotional factors (e.g. politics, culture, ego, pride).
A Force Field Analysis is a framework that will help you isolate these factors and identify opportunities to mitigate the restraining factors and maximize the driving ones so you can move towards your desired goals.
