We stand in support of the Black community against racial injustice: Black lives matter.

We are showing up and taking action by investing our time and our expertise—as well as financial and organizational commitments—to further efforts we believe will lead to a more equitable and just society.

This starts with putting MURAL to work by helping organizations focused on issues of racial injustice create spaces for education and visual collaboration as a part of our Education and Nonprofit programs. We are actively working on partnerships with people and organizations and offering our expertise in facilitation so that more people can have productive conversations about racial injustice.

If you have an initiative we can support, ask for our help. Please reach out to us here.

Second, we've donated $25,000 to Inneract Project, a design-focused organization that serves underrepresented Black and Latinx youth. We have also initiated a way for our global team to make pre-tax donations to an organization of their choice. These investments will put financial resources to work right away.

Finally, we are taking action internally at MURAL. We are growing up as a company, and we can be more intentional about what type of organization we want to build towards in the future. We’ve established a diversity and inclusion team that is charged with launching programs internally to increase awareness, initiate organizational changes, and better help us embody an open-minded and culturally aware organization through the diversity of our teammates.

As we grow as a company, we will also grow as people.

I co-founded Mural, where we are making creative teams become better design thinkers through our collaboration software. We started Mural because of a game we were designing. Ask me about that.
