New user interface, enhancements for everyday collaboration, and Enterprise plan features

Meet the new Mural: Our upgraded user interface is now available across all plans!

Continuing with the phased rollout we started back in December, our upgraded user interface is now available across all Mural plans! For now, you can continue toggling your murals back to our classic interface if desired by clicking the button in the top right corner of any mural.

Coming soon, our upgraded user interface will become generally available, and there will no longer be an option to toggle back to our classic user interface. As you explore our upgraded user interface, we’d love to hear your feedback via the Provide feedback option shown above!

Small but mighty in-canvas enhancements

• You can now copy and paste sticky notes with tags seamlessly between murals! This is a great way to create tags in bulk, and eliminates the hassle of recreating tags whenever you start a mural.
• Express a wider range of real-time emotions when collaborating with others in a mural including these new five reactions added to the bottom toolbar: 😂,😮,👏,😢 and 👎. To visually share how you’re feeling in the moment, hover over the reactions icon in the bottom toolbar to the left of your avatar and click the emoji once or multiple times for it to float across the screen for everyone to see.  

New features offering greater visibility, security, and control for Enterprise plan customers

Gain insight into collaboration activity in murals, workspaces, and across your company

We are excited to announce the arrival of a series of new features for Enterprise plan customers that will be enabled by default. Together, they will offer data and analytics to help provide more insight into collaboration activity in murals, workspaces, and across your company.

• Mural insights — Enables members to gain insight into collaboration activity by all registered users in a mural. Learn more.

• Workspace insights — Enables workspace admins and company admins to gain insight into collaboration activity by all registered users in an Enterprise workspace, as well as, how they’ve used murals and templates to collaborate. Learn more.

• Company insights* — Enables company admins to gain insight into collaboration activity by all registered users throughout an Enterprise plan account, as well as, how they’ve used murals and templates to collaborate. Learn more.

*Please note: this functionality will replace the existing company insights page in the company dashboard.

Centrally manage all workspaces across your company from the company dashboard‍ — now generally available

Workspace management is now openly accessible to all Enterprise plan customers! Get greater visibility and centralized control over all the workspaces in your account without the need for workspace admin privileges on each and every workspace. Perform administrative actions and bulk actions to easily manage your company’s use of Mural, even as it scales. Learn more.
